My Life

These are some pictures of people and places that inspire me and influence me in my life.  The picture at the top right of the girls in the purple shirts is a picture of my sorority sisters.  They help to encourage me when I am discouraged.  The picture to the left is from my first missions trip to Lima Peru.  That was when I first decided I wanted to become an architect.  During my travels I have seen so many people in need and in poverty and I want to do my part in helping by providing places where they can find shelter and grow relationships.  The center picture is from my trip to Italy last year.  Surrounding that central picture are pictures of my best friends! On the left is a picture of my friend Pj and I before prom.  He inspires me and always gives me encouragement.  I know that no matter what he will always be there for me.  Below  is a picture of GAMA (Gracy, Anna, Megan, and Me)! They are the best friends a girl could ever ask for! And on the far right is a picture of my Sister and I.  My sister is everything to me!  Without her I wouldn't be who I am today! Even though she is younger than me I look up to her and am always amazed at what an incredible person she is!  The Very bottom picture is of me at the lake.  I love going and just meditating there! I always find my best inspiration and peace while there.

Contemporary Design

These are a few pictures of contemporary designs that fascinate me.  They are so unique and I look in awe of all of them.   The lines, angles, and curves are incredible.

Italy

This first picture is of Florence, Italy at night.  I love the lights and how the city feels alive. This was taken right next to the statue of David.
This second picture is also taken in Florence, it is the Basilica Di Santa Maria Del Fiore otherwise known as the Florence Cathedral.  The detailing on this church is incredible! The Next four pictures were taken while I was in Venice, Italy.  Above is a picture of the Basilica Di San Marco a Venezia or otherwise known as Saint Mark's Basilica.  When this picture was taken it was raining and everyone was running around the square trying to find shelter. The atmosphere was filled with energy and excitement and this scene helped to capture one of the best memories of this trip.

These last three pictures are in a market place in Venice.  I found the details of these windows to be incredible. Each building have different windows that are uniquely detailed and different.
